Description

A beautiful mahogany Edwardian Period kidney shaped writing table. Having a solid mahogany kidney shaped top with an inset black leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail, flanked by sunburst inlaid panels. The central concave frieze drawer, flanked by two bow end drawers, each having brass handles. The whole raised on elegant square tapering supports terminating in spade feet united by shaped stretchers. The desk is finished all the way around with beautiful figured mahogany and line inlaid detail so it can be used as freestanding circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 42" wide x 18" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" high x 18" wide)

Condition: This writing table is in beautifully restored condition
