Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bedroom Suite by Waring & Gillow C1910

Superb Quality Antique Edwardian Mahogany Bedroom Suite and with its original makers plate and stamp for Waring & Gillow and dating from around 1910. Constructed from quality mahogany and consisting of a triple wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers and a matching bedside cabinet.

The Wardrobe:

The triple wardrobe has a gadrooned edge to the cornice top above a cross banded frieze and with a full length bevelled mirrored door to the centre flanked on either side by a double panelled door separated by a greek key frieze and with original ornate brass handles. It stands on squat cabriole legs which are carved with Acanthus leaf to the shoulders. Internally it has double hanging space and to one side there are three sliding mahogany trays and four graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined with brass handles. Separates for ease of transporting.

Measures: 74" high x 22" deep x internal depth 19" x 68" wide

The Dressing Table:

The dressing table has a shaped bevelled mirror set within a mahogany frame and with squared side supports with harebell design and with a gadrooned edge to the table top above a single drawer to the centre with pierced supports over the kneehole and with two drawers to each side with harebell design to the sides and standing on long cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carved to the shoulder.

Measures: 60" to top of mirror x 30" to table top x 22" deep x 46" wide

The Chest of Drawers:

The chest of drawers with shaped backrail with greek key freize and with gadrooned edge to the top above two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with ornate brass handles and stands on squat cabriole legs carved to the shoulders.

Measures: 36" high to back rail x 33" high to top x 23" deep x 36" wide

The Bedside Cabinet has a shaped back rail and with a gadrooned edge to the top above a single door with carved harebell to each side and with ornate brass handle and standing on cabriole legs carved to the shoulder.

Measures: 30" high x 16" x 17"
