Rising from turned feet over original castors, into the main lower cabinet - this being fitted with a trio of drawers and a shelved section.

The desk area is revealed when the fall flap opens to the horizontal. The upper is closed with the lock and key.
Internally a recent velvet working surface presents excellently. The combination of a 77cm (30.3") working height and robust solid brass quarter hinging delivers a working area which is suitable for regular use.

The interior benefits from a slide out reading slope (which is in matching trim) and is excellently fitted with drawers, cubbies and a central door.
The upper surface presents in good order in keeping with rest of the desk.

Overall a quality example of English Regency period furniture in good order providing huge style and practicality. A rare desk in this size, quality and condition.
