The 12.68Z 17 jewel watch movement is beautifully made, totally reliable and as you can see it's in fabulous like new condition.
The white dial with sub seconds is in perfect condition with gilt numbers. It has just been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted. The case has been professionally polished, this is a watch that looks and performs like new.
It has obviously been extremely well cared for and looks as though it was rarely worn.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
It comes complete with a new brown leather strap and a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition. If you prefer a black leather or extra long strap this can be fitted.
Longines are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
The serial number dates this watch to 1953 and would be a perfect gift for any man especially one born in this year.
The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Longines in all respects.
It has been professionally serviced and overhauled the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
