Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
It has been sympathetically restored with the brass and copper being bright and crisp yet retaining the patina you would expect from a piece 130 years old.
It comes complete with its original coal scoop, as you can see it is worn but it seems such a shame to split the set.
