Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The white painted case has the most wonderful chinoiserie panels and this is complimented by the gilding around the edges and also the brass dial which has decorative spandrels and a contrasting silver chapter ring. The glass is in perfect condition.
This is the rarest of Elliot's chinoiserie clocks because of its size measuring 8.5 inches high with the handle up, 5.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep.

The size makes it sought after as you can place it on a mantel piece, side table or bedside table.
The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

Overall this is an outstanding clock in superb condition.
The clock movement comes with a full 12 month warranty.
Delivery for this item to mainland England and Wales is free.
