Description

A handsome Scottish made Tartanware box dating to the Victorian era, around 1870. This one is in beautiful undamaged condition with a good bright patina.

The domed lid has three decoupaged cards to the centre and the little gold on black label remains to the side identifying the tartan or plaid as McPherson.

The box has two (new) decks of cards, purely added to complete the offering.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" tall.
