A really beautiful and highly decorative visiting card case, beautifully shaped with exquisite and intricate engraving. Either side has a central oval vacant cartouche.

The lid fits well and the hinge is in excellent working order. Once opened the full English hallmark for Birmingham 1876; this piece also has the sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark.

Superb condition weighing 61.6 Grams or 1.98 Troy Ounces; 4" x 2 3/4".
