Painted in Gouache and mounted in Victorian Maple Frames, this Pair of Vesuvius Pictures, which show the Mount before and after eruption, are both dated 1880.

Dimensions of Frames:

Height: 21.5 inches (55 cm)

Width: 29.5 inches (75 cm)

The condition is generally good. The Frames have some chips to the veneer and are slightly loose.

The colours of the paintings are strong and vibrant.
