A most unusual example featuring a charming Butterfly and floral and foliate bouquet.
The spring is strong and in full working order and the back plate is where the diamond shaped English design registration mark can be found; slightly hard to decipher the actual date mark, but it will between 1868 and 1883; always very sought-after on these items.
A beautiful piece and in excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" in length.
