A wonderful piece of Queen Anne period walnut furniture inlaid with herringbone banding. The bookcase top with bevelled arched mirrored doors opening to reveal adjustable shelves in a red lacquer finish. The bureau, below a pair of candle slides has a fitted well and stepped interior and an antiqued green tooled leather inset writing surface. It has 2 short and 2 long drawers and stands on bracket feet.
