Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The backs with a rolled leaf top, egg and dart edges, ans channel moulding. The arms with leaf decorated hand holds, and outswept supports, finished with leaf carving. The blocks with paterae decoration, above tapering legs, with fluting and brass castors.

Very well carved and with slightly worn gilt make them a very nice decorative pair.
