Pair of Antique Swedish Leather Club Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Pair of antique Swedish leather armchairs in good original condition dating from around the 1890-1910 period, with deep buttoned backs & arms. They are very comfortable & not as bulky looking as the traditional English chesterfield armchairs. The leather is in good condition, with no splits, tears or holes & has plenty of character. There is a bit of natural wear on the arms to the top surface of the leather, but only very thin wear, which has been polished over & enhanced to give the chairs even more character. These are great looking chairs & I don't think they will hang around for long.

Depth - 31.5", 80 cm

Height - 30.7", 78 cm

Seat height - 17", 43 cm
