Description

A good quality late George II period mid-18th century Cuban mahogany BUREAU in fine original condition.

Of good colour and patina the fall of this fine bureau opens to reveal the particularly well fitted interior, with eight serpentine-fronted small drawers, all with good oak linings; various pigeon-holes with shaped divisions and a small central locking cupboard.

Below are four long graduated drawers, all with oak linings and original handles/locks whilst it is supported on original solid mahogany ogee bracket feet. 36ins wide.
