London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The oak table, with bulbous supports, benefits from a shaped refectory stretcher which provides robustness ensuring that the table is solid in use, and also acts as a footrest for those seated.

The oak chairs provide style and comfort with classic bergere seats and backs. Rising from reeded tapered legs, with quality lower stretcher, the chairs rise into a carved seat frame & moulded back before terminating in an attractive carved header rail. They are in excellent order throughout. A generous 47cm (18.5") seat height ensures pleasing seating.

This quality set will work wonderfully in any dining or kitchen space. The upper surface is in lovely order with a desirable tone.
The table is perfectly sized for up to six persons.
Overall this oak suite is a wonderfully sized, solid and practical item of antique furniture that is in good order throughout and suitable for daily use.
