Antique Victorian Mahogany Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers

Description

Antique early Victorian mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers, with original turned handles & feet. It has a wonderful original colour & the top is solid mahogany. What I like most about this chest is that it's not as wide as normal, so will fit in more spaces & it doesn't look as bulky as some. All the drawers work well & they all have the original locks too. The back of this chest has been replaced. It looks fine & has all been toned in. This chest dates to around the 1840's period. There are the usual markings within the polished surface, normal for a piece over 150 years old, but it is structurally sound & has lots of character.

Height --- 41" (104)
