Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The shaped basket has beautifully decorated panels with central floral motifs. There are two shaped handles which can either lay flat or stand up in the centre.
The basket stands on four highly decorative fluted ball feet. The underside has the full mark for the well renowned Sheffield silversmith, Robert & Belk.
Excellent condition, measuring 10 1/2" in diameter x 6" tall to top of handles.
