Butler Table - Folding Base - c1850

A very desirable two tier serving table with fine proportion and huge style.

This mahogany tray table is presented in good antique order with deep rich tone to the wood.

The folding base arrangement rises through skilfully cranked legs and is centred with a lower tier. The base design is a huge success aesthetically and the structure is robust and sturdy in use.

The table top is a nicely executed example displaying a deep moulded edge with fielded panel inner.

With useful height the piece is suitable for either permanent location as a coffee or display table, or for occasional use due to the benefit of the folding leg stand.
