Writing & Jewelry Box - Ebonised Chinoiserie - c1850

A Victorian period box offering huge charm.

Opening to reveal a fitted interior, lift out inner, and lower writing drawer with slope. Externally the piece displays wonderful Oriental scenes with gilt over an ebonized finish.

The box is in antique condition as seen in the images, structurally sound, and has loose/missing white dividers and a replacement foot. There is a key and original side handles.
