Mirror Overmantle - Marquetry Edge - c1880

A pleasing wall mirror or overmantle of useful proportion c1880.

The mirror presents an inlaid marquetry frame with with detailed gilt moulded inner trim frame and good glass. The piece benefits from bun feet which can be unscrewed if the mirror is to be wall hung and not sitting on a surface or on a mantle.

A charming example with classic proportions, this mirror makes a beautiful statement piece which will add dimension in any location.

Complete with top hanging bracket for ease of fitting.
