Description

A simply stunning example of a bottle or syphon holder, especially if you are a devotee of Art Nouveau. Apart from the very organic and typically stylised pierced panels, the handles too have a Art Nouveau flourish.

Made from silver plate, the underside is clearly marked for the silversmith, "The Goldsmith's Co., Newcastle". Also marked "Ducal Plate", this example is also lucky enough to have an English design registration number (334132) for the year 1900.

As stylish as they come in superb condition, measuring 7 1/4" tall with a lip diameter of 5".
