Antique French Fall-front Glove Box in Tulipwood C.1860

Description

A most attractive mid-nineteenth century glove box made from the highly decorative Tulipwood in a most attractive geometric pattern.

The lid is framed in a polished brass edge which when lifted reveals a Rosewood finish on the interior. The front falls, always a highly sought-after configuration.

Complete with a working key, the box is in superb condition (a tiny blemish to lid, insignificant but shown for accuracy). 10 3/8" x 3 7/8" x 3 1/8" tall.
