Outstanding Omega solid 18ct gold gents wristwatch.
The watch is one of the very first solid 18ct gold Omega Seamasters fitted with the highly reliable calibre 354 'bumper' automatic movement. An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring, it is extremely rare to find this in a solid 18ct gold case.
The two tone dial with gilt numerals and baton markers is in mint unmarked condition. It has gilt luminous hands. It also the Omega symbol on the original crown. It has been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted and is in exceptional condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality presentation box.
The heavy solid 18ct gold screw back case is fully hallmarked.
It comes complete with a new premium quality black leather strap.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
Overall this watch is in outstanding condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn, this is the best example of this model we have ever come across.
It comes with its test prinout which states it is accurate to within 0.3 seconds per day.
The watch has been fully serviced by Simon Batchelor MBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.
