A Spectacular Pierced Silver Sweetmeat Basket with Cranberry Liner.

A spectacular silver sweetmeat basket, assayed in the sought after Chester Office. This wonderful Edwardian example is of large size and goblet shape. It has a detailed pierced body and foot with beaded rims and handle. The piercing, which is also on the foot, is of geometric design with foliar detail, stipple engraving and a vacant cartouche. The liner is cranberry glass and the handle is hinged.

A truly eye-catching piece, both decorative and useable.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass.
