London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Stamped with Willson, 68 Great Queen Street, London - a company of great repute whom had close association with Gillows and it may be that this wardrobe is indeed from Gillows.

Rising from a continuous plinth into a full width lower drawer which displays fine flame veneer and ebony stringing with tulipwood cross banding in common with the rest of the piece.
A mirror door, complete with bevel edged plate, opens to reveal the hanging section which is complete with centre rail and perimeter hooks. Three further drawers sit below the upper cabinet. The door displays fine oval central feature and stunning veneer, opening to reveal twin shelves.

Original locks and brass ware is evident throughout.
The whole is capped with a fine wide crown moulding with ebonized dentil embellishment.
Overall a top quality example in exceptional order providing huge style and practicality. A rare wardrobe in this size and condition of a quality that is simply not available these days.

Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
The wardrobe breaks into 4 pieces so can be installed in even very tight access locations.
