Regency Mahogany Library Bookcase

Description

An impressive and particularly fine quality early 19th century mahogany LIBRARY BOOKCASE in very good original condition.

The upper section is surmounted by the 'architectural' pediment centred by a roundel and supported by twin corbels, whilst below, the beautifully designed glazed doors open to reveal adjustable shelves. The glazing bars are fine yet strong, and all the glass appears to be original.

Below are two panelled doors which open to reveal a spacious cupboard fitted with a shelf, and it is supported on a plinth base. Measurements: 52ins wide (maximum) and 8ft 4ins tall. (132 x 250cms high)
