Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1860s.
It has just been completely cleaned and overhauled by our BHI registered staff. The case has been lacquered to prevent tarnishing. It is brighter in appearance than these photographs depict.
The 8 day movement strikes on a bell on the half-hours and the hours.
A 4" enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and bevelled glass to the front opening door. The pendulum movement has a lovely tick and the bell strike is mellow in tone.
A truly gorgeous clock.
