Rare Copeland Late Spode Golfing Jug Circa 1900

Description

Standing approximately 4 inches (10 cm) high, this RARE COPELAND LATE SPODE GOLFING JUG dates from circa 1900.

The JUG bears both impressed and printed marks and a Design Registration Number for 1891.

The sprigged decoration shows Gentleman participating in the gentle art of GOLF, from teeing up to a full drive. There are also two young boys, one carrying a full golf bag and the other holding the pin flag.

The condition is good. There are no cracks, chips or restoration.
