A Superb Solid Oak Edwardian Period Antique Partners Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb solid oak Edwardian Period antique partners desk. The rectangular solid oak top with an inset red leather writing surface and a gadrooned carved border. The pedestals having four graduating mahogany lined drawers, each right hand pedestal having a "double" drawer front which is actually one file drawer, each with brass swan neck handles and Hobbs & Co locks. The pedestal drawers are flanked by reeded columns and having solid oak panelled ends. Having a central rectangular drawer above the knee hole. The reverse of the desk (partners side) is identical. The whole supported on a solid oak plinth with inset castor's circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 66" wide x 48" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" high x 26" wide)

Condition: This partners desk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
