Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
I gave them to my leather specialist who revived & polished the leather to give them a much better look. There are some natural wear marks, normal for the age of the leather, but no tears or holes, only natural distressing. These wing chairs have a very generous proportions & lovely shaping all over. They have hump backs, deep well shaped wings, scrolled over arms & a great shape along the bottom front edge. The legs are walnut, beautifully carved, with ball & claw feet. They have plump feather filled cushions which add even more comfort & I must say having tried them out personally, they are extremely comfortable, with good back support. They are also hand tacked all over & look good from all angles. Please enlarge all the images to really appreciate the quality of these chairs.
