Description

A really wonderful example of an English Tunbridge Ware inlaid Jewelry box dating to the mid-nineteenth century.

This top-notch box has panels to the top and front with intricate inlay in Amboyna, Tulipwood, Kingwood etc., really unusual and exotic timbers.

The lid lifts to reveal a paper lined interior, professionally re-lined in a hand marbled paper to create a clean and fresh finish.

There is a brass pin to the right-right hand side, removed to release the drawer underneath revealing a blue velvet lining.

Excellent condition, measuring 12" x 9" x 6 3/4" tall. Complete with a working key.
