Description

A charming set of four whist markers or counters, in beautiful condition, clearly protected by their original card box,even complete with the original tissue inside.

One side has a suited King and the other with Simple, Double, Triple and Quadruple; unusually both sides are glazed. All four are in exceptional condition with superb gilding still intact.

The box measures 1 3/8" x 7/8" tall and each marker measuring 1" in diameter. Continental in origin made for the English market c.1850.
