A Mahogany George III Period Antique Chest on Chest

Description

A mahogany George III Period Antique chest on chest. The upper section with a stepped and moulded cornice above an arrangement of two over three oak lined graduating drawers, with pierced brass back plate handles. The lower section with a moulded edge and an arrangement of three graduating oak lined drawers again with pierced back plate swan neck handles. Supported on shaped bracket feet. The sides also constructed from solid mahogany English circa 1780

Dimensions: 69" high x 44" wide x 20" deep at top 21" deep at bottom

Condition: This chest on chest is in superb condition, a beautiful mellow colour and patination. One side is more faded than the other. The handles are of the period but not the original.
