Slim Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Cupboard on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Very slim antique cupboard on chest (tallboy), in good original condition, dating to around the 1910-20's period. The top is crossbanded burr walnut. The front is burr walnut too & the sides are figured walnut. There is a cupboard on top, with one shelf inside & four drawers below. The drawers have the original brass handles & locks. There are bracket feet below. This is a very well made compact piece of furniture & quite unusual in it's slimness. It also has lovely figuring in the burr walnut.

Depth - 15.5", 39 cm

Height - 45.7", 116 cm
