Superb Jacqmar WWII Propoganda Scarf 'Time Gentleman Please' Designed by Arnold Lever

Description

A Rare WWII Propaganda Scarf by Jacqmar, London, designed by Arnold Lever and entitled 'Time Gentleman Please'. A bold and classic sought after design signed 'Jacqmar', the border with the names of London pubs, with hand rolled edges.

Due to WWII silk rationing Jacqmar scarves of this period are made of Rayon rather than the usual silk.

In good vintage condition, it's not been washed but has a few grubby areas and a couple of paint spots on the edges (see detail photographs).
