Arts & Crafts Style Copper Charger Probably Newlyn Circa 1890

Description

Measuring approximately 16 inches (41 cm) in diameter, this ART & CRAFTS COPPER CHARGER with A stylised FISH in the centre, dates from circa 1890.

Although not marked, the CHARGER is very similar in design to those from NEWLYN. As can be seen from the photograph, the FISH is well-fromed and detailed and the whole CHARGER shows signs of hand crafted work.

The back has a good patina.

The condition is good. There are no holes or repairs. The rim is slightly misshapen in one place.
