Description

A stunning dressing table or vanity jar, perfect for keeping bits and pieces such as Q-Tips.

The cut crystal jar is deeply cut in the ever-popular hobnail design. The lid fits well and is made from a good gauge of sterling silver. The embossed or repousse design is clearly Art Nouveau with a central vignette of a lady being kissed by a winged Cherub or Putti figure, quite adorable and romantic.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1906, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Levi & Salaman. Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" tall with a lid diameter measuring 2 7/8".
