Antique Late Georgian Country Small Oak Dresser C1800

Antique Late Georgian Small country oak dresser and dating from aorund 1800. It has a moulded cornice to the top of the rack above two shelves with plate grooves and with elm backing boards standing on shaped supports. The base has a moulded edge to the plank top above two deep drawers both of which are pine lined with later brass handles and with original mahogany lock escutcheons. There are two moulded panelled doors with brass handles and mahogany lock escutcheons and with internal shelf. It stands on a deep plinth base. The rack separates from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures: 72" high to top x 34" high to base x 17" deep x 47" wide

A very nice late Georgian Country Oak Dresser of good colour and proportions and in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
