Antique 19th Century Flamed Mahogany Wellington Chest C1860

Superb Antique Victorian Flamed Mahogany Wellington Chest and dating from aorund 1860.Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded edge to the top above six graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original turned mahogany knob handles. The drawers are released by unlocking the right hand side ( with original lock and key) and this also reveals secret pigeon hole compartments to one side. It is moulded to the base and stands on turned tulip bun feet on original brass shoe castors.

Measures: 46" high x 16" deep x 22" wide

We cannot praise this quality Wellington chest enough and unfortunately the photographs do not do it justice nor shows the beauty of the feathered grain to the quality mahogany. In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality Mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
