Antique Art Nouveau Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe Compactum C1890

Superb Antique Art Nouveau Mahogany Triple Wardrobe Compactum and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a swan neck carved and moulded pedament to the top above a cornice with dental moulding and a deep frieze. To the centre there are two carved panelled doors with internal shelf and above two small drawers over a shaped frieze and with recessed open space with mirror to the back. There is a flight of four graduating drawers with chippendale style carved lattice work to the fronts and all of which are mahogany lined with original brass handles. To each side there is a shaped bevelled mirrored door with carved moulding to the top and carved and shaped fielded panel to the base and with original brass handles. Internally and to one side there is a shelf with hanging rail and to the other side there is a hanging rail with a shoe box to the base. It stands on a deep plinth base and separates into seven pieces for ease of transporting.
