Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.

The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1913, so exactly 100 years old this year and also bears the makers initials LE for the silversmith, Lawrence Emanuel.
The backing is original solid Oak with a folding easel stand. Excellent condition (a minor little ding to the silver on the side, mentioned purely for accuracy) measuring 4 3/8" in diameter with a glazed aperture measuring 3 5/8".
