A Rare Georgian Silver 'Cayenne' Bottle Label.

Description

A delightful and rare example of Georgian/William IV silver tableware. This is a silver bottle label for a condiment bottle. This example is a 'cayenne' label and in Georgian times cruets were large, impressive structures, containing many bottles for various table condiments. Others found are soy, ketchup and several more. An interesting area of collectable silver.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or losses.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.

Maker :- Charles Rawlings and William Summers.

Width :- 3 cms.

Height :- 1.5 cms.
