Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Box for Two Rings - 1901

Description

A charming little ring box in sterling silver with an highly decorative all-over repousse or embossed design. The slightly domed lid has a central vacant cartouche.

The underside of the box is where the full hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1901, late Victorian in era. The makers initials D & F are also present for the silversmith, Deakin & Francis.

The lid fits well and once opened reveals a velvet lined interior is a deep Emerald colour.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1".
