A Stunning Burr Walnut Victorian Period Pedestal Desk

Description

A stunning Burr Walnut Victorian Period antique pedestal desk. Having a rectangular top with rounded corners veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut and with an inset top quality green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail. The rectangular central frieze drawer flanked by four graduating mahogany lined drawers, having their original turned walnut drawer pulls with working locks and key, again in beautifully figured burr walnut. The ends and back veneered in beautifully figured walnut also, supported on a rounded corner veneered plinth with inset castor's circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 54" wide x 30" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" high x 23" wide)

Condition: This desk is in stunning condition, re-polished in our workshops. Replacement top quality leather insert
