A Set of 10 Queen Anne Style Maple Dining Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine set of 10 Queen Anne style maple dining chairs including two carver arm chairs. These chairs having a "Biedermeier influence" having a shaped top rail and classic Queen Anne style vase shaped back splat. The carver chairs having open scrolling arms. Each chair having serpentine front seat rails with simple upholstered drop in seats, newly upholstered in a ivory and pale blue silk damask. Although English in design these chairs are probably German or Austrian in Origin with a Biedermeier influence circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: Carvers 25" wide x 25" deep x 44" high Stands 20" wide x 20" deep x 41" high (seats 18" high)

Condition: These chairs are in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed. Newly re-upholstered to a high standard in a Blue ivory silk damask in our workshops
