A superb four poster bedstead constructed around original mahogany Victorian posts, circa 1860. We have reconstructed the canopy, the back posts and the runners in keeping with the original design. The upholstered back panel has a serpentine shaped top and adds to the comfort and overall appearance of the four poster bed. This back panel has been covered in a cream damask matching the canopy infil above.
This bed has been restored to the highest standards in our workshops. After 30 years of experience we are experts in the restoration and adaption of these antique beds. The work is of the highest quality and ensures the antique can be enjoyed for generations to come.
This bed accepts a 6ft wide (super king size) base and mattress set. The price includes a standard firm bed base, and the bedstead.
