Regency rosewood inlaid writing slope

The rosewood inlaid writing box is superbly inlaid and strung with Mother of Pearl. The writing surface lifts open on hinges to reveal the velvet surface that again lifts to reveal a satinwood interior that also encloses secret drawers. On the top there is a lifting lid that opens to find a beautiful interior fitted a pen tray and compartments.
