A Mahogany Edwardian Period Serpentine Partners Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A mahogany Edwardian Period serpentine partners desk. Having a rectangular top of serpentine outline with three individual red leather inset writing surfaces having gilt and blind tooled detail and cross banded in mahogany. Each side of the desk having three oak lined frieze drawers, with one side having a further three graduating drawers to each pedestal. The opposing side with concave cupboards and flame veneered panels, the ends again with beautifully figured flame veneers, supported on shaped mahogany bracket feet, complete with working locks and key, circa 1910

Dimensions:65" wide x 31" high x 42" deep (knee hole 24.5" high x 28" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition. Cleaned and waxed
