It is free from any chips, cracks or crazing. The front opening door is fitted with a bevelled convex glass.
The 8 day, pendulum movement strikes the half-hours and the hours on a bell. It has a charming, mellow strike. It has just been fully cleaned and serviced by our BHI registered staff.
Unusually, the back of this clock is also gilded, allowing it to be used in a table situation within a room.
