This is framed by a raised continuous Acanthus leaf border.

The interior has been re-lined with a fresh navy blue velvet, creating a fresh finish ready for use.
The underside has a full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the date letter for 1908. The makers mark HM for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews is present. A bonus is the presence of the retailer's mark too, for "Edwards, Glasgow", so a Scottish retailer.
Excellent condition measuring 3 7/8" x 2 5/8" x 1 1/2" tall.
